June 16, 2009 - Malibu Dana Writes About Just Fabulous
My buddy Stephen Monkarsh opened up a handsome store on North Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs he's titled, Just Fabulous. Stephen was a very successful attorney when his mom, Ellen fell ill and he became a full-time caregiver. After she passed, he mounted a life change in a love he adored, retail.
The reason I bring this all up is Stephen is hosting a couple of great events at his store that if you are in the desert, you should check out. On Sunday, October 19th from 4-7 my funny friend, Leslie Jordan is signing his terrific book, "My Trip Down the Red Carpet". Then on Saturday, November 1st from 4-8, Lana Turner's daughter Cheryl Crane is signing her; "Lana, The Memories, The Myths, The Movies" tome. Stephen is doing that bash up old Hollywood style. Cheryl is a lesbian who stabbed her mom's boyfriend to death and Leslie just kills me. |
